About Our Director of Religious Education
Rina Shere, M.A., Ed.D., is our Director of Religious Education. Rina has more than twenty years of diverse non-profit management and programming experience with churches, universities, art centers, and social service organizations.
Rina is delighted to be serving as the Director of Religious Education at the Unitarian Universalist Society of Cleveland working with children, youth and adults. In this capacity she will be responsible for implementing the Our Whole Lives comprehensive sexuality education program, Coming of Age and parenting classes, along with the Sunday morning classes for infants through teens. Rina is also pursuing her Master of Divinity at the Methodist Theological School of Ohio. She lives in Shaker Heights with her husband and two sons. Her interests include religion, politics, gardening, yoga and the arts.
